ATTN: All EF Officers, Generals and Admirals

GENERAL SITUATION
Since the beginning of this year, numerous known Raider groups had been gaining strength surprisingly fast. But bold, deadly and well-planned attacks on commercial transports were just the beginning.
On February 16, the ACFA-1875 squadron of the Achilles battlegroup was conducting an unplanned patrol in the Taurus sector and picked up a weak distress call from the local trading party. The squad leader decided to attack the Raider forces that had ripped apart the disabled freighters. Unfortunately, he greatly underestimated the numbers of enemy forces. Within only a few minutes of intense combat, half of the EA fighters were destroyed, including the squadron leader.
But at that time, the EAS Achilles (OCG 1) had joined the battle and managed to force the Raiders to retreat. The previous preports of a new type of Raider jumpship are now confirmed the EAS Achilles (OCG 1) has acquired definitive sensor recordings of two new large Raider vessels. INTELDIV is working hard to find the sources of funding that allows their construction and fitting with heavy military armament. The plan of denying Raiders the use of these vessels is now being developed.
SHEFFER SYSTEM SITUATION
Until this month, the situation in the Sheffer system was no different from what can be considered nominal. The problem suddenly appeared two weeks ago, when the Raiders hit three major cargo convoys in the system all three within one day. Within the following days, a large number of freighters and liners passing through the risk zone, including the infamous Sheffer asteroid belt, have been attacked and stripped of cargo.
