“Happy New Year, pilots!”

“It was the end of the Earth year 2004 and it was the dawn of a new age for all of us.
It was the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
The next year would see great changes and great joy. The release of “update-patch”. Team’s future plans announcement.
“I’ve Found Her” game project would evolve and despite anything in the end it will hold, because what is built endures, and what is loved endures.
And Babylon 5,.. Babylon 5 endures.”

What’s our status?

Space Dream Factory team is still working on “Danger and Opportunity” prequel-update. There are few things to be done before it will be released to public:

• Programming: Two major issues concerning proper “shadows” support on Radeon graphic cards. Few other less annoying bugs.
• Sound: To diversify gameplay during missions various voice recordings are to be made for missing characters’ generic lines.
• Modelling: Some of the game’s models require minor tweaks to work with “shadows”.
• Art-work: Additional interfaces are to be finished.
• Gameplay: Intensive game’s beta-testing at different difficulty levels, small bugs and logical discrepancies cleanup in some missions.

“…each voice lost diminishes us.” — G’Kar

Tim Choate (playing Zathras in “Babylon 5” and Polix in “Crusade”) died on September 24 after being struck by a car while riding his motorcycle on his way to a play rehearsal. He was 49.

“I walked into the audition room, there was a bunch of little rat-like guys, with long, pointy noses, little beady eyes that were darting around. They were all smaller than me, and I thought, well, if that’s really important to this character, I’m not going to get this part!”
